How to win back public confidence in community developments


More than three-quarters of the public lack confidence in the property sector to deliver schemes that genuinely benefit communities, according to the Urban Land Institute and YouGov.

This is a sobering statistic, and one which our MD Damien Sharkey focuses on in a piece for EG, in which he examines the ways in which developers can win back public confidence.

Open dialogue with a community from the very start of a project is crucial, as is an emphasis on true placemaking. Working with great architects is another vital element, as well as bringing on board partners who really understand ESG.
