HubCap submits plans for redevelopment of striking historic building in the City

We have submitted our latest HubCap planning application for the refurbishment of a super-central London project on Ludgate Hill, a striking building that dates back to the late 1800s, located a stone’s throw from St Paul’s Cathedral.

30-32 Ludgate Hill has already been through various life cycles, including a bank, and is currently being used as offices. Working with Holland Harvey, a certified B-Corp, we are proposing a high-quality and sensitive retrofit that celebrates the building’s existing assets, making internal alterations to create a low carbon boutique apart hotel. We'll also introduce a ground floor café, reconnecting the building to the busy streets outside. Re-using the structure of the building saves significant embodied carbon, and keeps us well within the current LETI and RICS guidelines - and we're targeting BREEAM and WELL accreditations.

The apart hotel would offer efficient all-electric, net zero carbon living spaces, right in the heart of this tourist district which is extremely well-connected by public transport and cycle ways.
